During his playing career, Chad served as his teams’ player representative to the NFLPA for six seasons.  He was a member of the player safety committee, and helped draft new programs such as the performance-based pay pool and the veteran minimum salary rule.

Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Chad attended John Muir high school.  An All State choice in football, he was highly recruited and enjoyed a stellar collegiate career at the University of Colorado.  While at Colorado, he was a three time All Big 8 selection and was a major factor in the first ever National Championship for the University of Colorado.

Chad lives in Highlands Ranch, CO, where he lives with his wife and their two teenage children.
