Director of Athletic and Athlete Relations 

Will Blackmon is a former NFL player and Super Bowl champion who now leads Athlete Relations, guiding athletes in career, branding, and lifestyle. He’s also a FOX Sports analyst, wine entrepreneur, and active philanthropist.

Overview

Relationship Management

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for athletes.

  • Builds trust and long-term partnerships.

  • Ensures athletes feel fully supported—both personally and professionally.

  • Advises on contracts, branding, public image, and professional opportunities (endorsements, appearances, etc.).

  • Coordinates essential support services (trainers, therapists, brand coaches, etc.).

  • Provides guidance for post-career transition and legacy planning.

Liaison & Representation

  • Acts as a bridge between athletes and brands, sponsors, teams, and media.

  • Manages negotiations or works closely with certified agents when necessary.

Experience Oversight

  • Delivers a premium, seamless experience for each athlete—from logistics and events to lifestyle coordination.

  • Oversees VIP perks, travel arrangements, and custom lifestyle needs.

About Will Blackmon

Will Blackmon is a former NFL player with a 12-year career that included stints with the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants (winning Super Bowl XLVI), Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Redskins. A Boston College alumnus, he was inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2021 and returned to the program in 2024 as a Senior Football Analyst.

Currently, Will serves as a football analyst for FOX Sports and the NFL Network, sharing insights drawn from his playing and coaching background. He participated in the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, working with the Dallas Cowboys (2023) and Los Angeles Rams (2024)—advancing his leadership path in football.

  • Wine Expert & Entrepreneur:
    Founder of The WINE MVP, a concierge service offering wine education and experiences.
    In 2025, he launched his own label, Blackmon Cellars.
