Joe Mixon wanted to do a youth football camp in his hometown of Oakley CA and a couple of pretty good NFL'ers decided to join him.
Mixon's Life Football Camp is about more than just football, his goal was to give back to the community that molded him into a high school All American and launched him on the path to becoming a potential first round pick in the NFL Draft. CJ Anderson and Marshawn Lynch both believe in Mixon's mission and were easily convinced to join the elite staff.
That mission is to create a camp that help kids learn the lessons Mixon has learned through the course of his young career. It is about LEARNING, IMPROVING, FAMILY and EXPERIENCE… It’s about L.I.F.E.!
It looks like year one was a huge success and we look forward to seeing this project grow in years to come.
