Lorenzo Alexander is second-team All-Pro

January 9, 2017

Buffalo Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander continues to rack up accolades for 2016 after posting the best season in his 10-year career. Having already been selected to his first-ever Pro Bowl, Alexander now has an All-Pro selection on his resume, as well.

The 33-year-old was voted second team All-Pro by the associated press (receiving four votes from a panel of 50 members) and is the only Bills player to be selected to either of the two teams in 2016. (LeSean McCoy was named a flex player.)

Having been used mainly as a special teams player for the majority of his career, Alexander set personal bests across the board in 2016 after revitalizing his career, subbing in initially for rookie edge rusher Shaq Lawson who began the season injured.

Alexander terrorized opposing quarterbacks all season long, finishing with the third most sacks in the league with 12.5.
